We have been absolutely not busy at all the past few weeks, and it has been amazing. Even though things have been slow, I still haven’t managed to make it out of my gym wear much. When you workout in it, and have a career in it – it’s hard to break away! One day last week I successfully took a shower, dried and styled my hair, did my makeup and got dressed while Damon ran around with the boys. I turned around and it had taken an hour and a half out of my day! I forgot how much effort and time it all took, and was quickly reminded why this isn’t a daily routine! I love being girly, but I don’t have the time, energy, or motivation to be all dolled up every morning! I like my sleep too much. 😉
Church was always very formal when I was growing up, so I tend to try to make extra special effort for Sundays. This outfit was a fun way to say peace to summer and somewhat of a hello to fall. These fringe boots are my new favorite shoe, and I’ve had this easy Target dress for almost TEN years. Curled my majorly long hair and threw cute earrings on. Then ran off chasing boys in 3.5″ heels.
We ventured red out of the house this past weekend to run some errands, and I wanted to be comfortable but chic. I paired my Kate Spade Keds with these denim white Gap shorts I scored on sale for $15, and threw this flowy blouse I picked up in Florida with it. Used my favorite fall Revlon lip stain and was completely content with my choices until it poured rain. My after picture I didn’t take would show pathetic hair, a makeupless face, and drenched white shorts. Fashion at its finest.
Ready to see what items we pick up this weekend on our annual girls trip to Dallas. This years bonus: getting to watch Jen Hatmaker speak!!
